Lighthouse Masonry, Inc. ("Lighthouse Masonry," "we," "us") runs this website. This policy explains what information we collect when you use it, why we collect it and what we do with it. The short version: we use what you send us to answer your request and do your job, and we don't sell it to anyone.
Information you give us
When you request an estimate on this site, we ask for:
- your name, and a phone number, an email address or both, so we can reach you
- the kind of work you need, whether it's a home or a business, and the city the job is in
- anything else you choose to tell us about the project
If you call, text or email us, we also have whatever you share in that conversation, such as your address so we can come out and look at the job.
Information collected automatically
- With an estimate request: your IP address and your browser's description of itself (its "user agent"). We use these only to spot and block spam and abuse.
- Server logs: like nearly every website, our servers record the pages requested, the time, your IP address and your browser type. We use these logs to keep the site running and secure.
- Cookies: see the next section.
Cookies
We set only the cookies the site needs to work. We don't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
- lm_session remembers your visit so forms can be checked for security. It expires after 24 hours.
- _csrf is a security token that stops other websites from submitting forms in your name.
Google reCAPTCHA, described below, may set its own cookies when you're on a page with a form.
Services from other companies
- Google reCAPTCHA checks that form submissions come from a person, not a spam bot. To do that, Google collects information about your device and how you use the page. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to it.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this site. Your browser downloads them from Google, which receives your IP address when it does.
- Email and hosting providers deliver our email and run the servers this site is on. They handle your information only to provide those services to us.
How we use your information
- to answer your request, schedule an estimate and do the work you hire us for
- to send you a confirmation that we received your request
- to keep the site secure and keep spam out
- to keep the business records we're required to keep
Asking for an estimate doesn't sign you up for a mailing list. We won't send you marketing email or texts unless you ask for them.
When we share it
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers. We share it only:
- with the providers above, so they can do their part
- when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public
- with a new owner, if the business is ever sold or merged
How long we keep it
We keep estimate requests and job records as long as we need them to follow up, do the work, honor our workmanship and keep our business and tax records. Server logs are kept only for a short time. Ask us and we'll delete your information, unless the law requires us to keep it.
How we protect it
The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Estimate requests can be seen only by our own staff through a password-protected admin area, and passwords are stored in a form that can't be read back. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care with what you share.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to show you the information we have about you, correct it or delete it. Email info@lighthousemasonrytx.com or call (972) 400-8687. We may need to confirm it's really you before we act on a request.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block them, the estimate form won't work, but you can always call us instead.
Children
This site is for adults arranging masonry work. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
