Sealing

Sealing keeps water out of brick and stone so it stays cleaner and lasts longer. We use breathable sealers that make rain bead and roll off without trapping moisture inside the wall.

How we do it

Film-forming coatings can trap moisture in masonry, turn cloudy and peel. We use penetrating, breathable water repellents. They soak into the brick or stone and leave its natural look.

Sealing works best on clean, sound masonry, so we'll clean the surface and make any repairs first.

What's included

  • Breathable water-repellent sealers for brick and stone
  • Sealing for walls, chimneys, flower beds and grill islands
  • Cleaning and repairs before sealing
  • Even application with no shine or film

Questions we hear about sealing

Will sealing change how my brick looks?

The sealers we use soak in and leave a natural, matte look. Your brick should look the same, just cleaner for longer.

How often should masonry be sealed?

We'll tell you what to expect for your wall, based on the sealer and how much weather the wall takes, and what signs mean it's time to reseal.
